School Gardens

Please note that all school gardens must have their soil tested (see soil testing results) and have official paperwork approved by Tom Cullen, Director of Operation for Fairfield Public Schools.  If you have any questions, please contact Tom Cullen for more information on the soil tests or paperwork.

Please note these guidelines were created with the assistance of the Fairfield Health Department and Connecticut Extension Service in order to ensure a safe and healthy environment for our students to learn and enjoy the many amazing things about gardening.  In order to ensure the students’ safety you *must* have a passing soil test and submit this paperwork to receive a certificate from Tom signifying the garden and its products have been approved for use by the students.
